Mobis Phoebus announced today that they signed with Thomas on condition of 350,000 US dollars for upcoming season.
Thomas led his team San Diego state to the sweet sixteen in the NCAA tournament this year. He was trying to go to NBA but, he did not be drafted by any NBA teams. Now, he decided to start his professional career in Korea.
'He is a fast and athletic guy. He keeps the ball and can pass well with his size. That's why we want him.' Mobis Phoebus staff said.
Thomas will join to Mobis Phoebus by the middle of August.

South Korea will now take on Hong Kong in the semifinal on Monday. South Korea stunned their opponents in the opening quarter. Macau managed to score just one point in the first ten minutes to face a woeful 33-point deficit at the break. South Korea sank 36 points in the second frame and gained a 70:12 halftime lead. The hosts scored eagerly in the second half cruising to a comfortable victory at the end. Kim Jong-Kyu (207-C-91) delivered 20 points for the winners. Lee Jung-Hyun (191-F-87) and Park Jae-Hyun (187-G-91) finished with 12 points each for the hosts. Ka Tong Lai (191-C-95) responded with 13 points for Macau. Chan Cheok Wa added 6 points in the loss.

Taiwan fell at 1-1 record after the defeat. Heo Il-Young (197-F-85) delivered 13 points to pace the winning team. Taiwan surprised the home team in the opening quarter. The visitors went on a 21:15 rally in the first term. But the Korean side quickly bounced back. They adjusted defensively and held Taiwan to 10 points in the second period. South Korea accumulated a 37:31 halftime lead. The hosts maintained the lead throughout the third term. They arrived at the final intermission up by 11 points 56:45. South Korea unloaded 22 points in the fourth period and sealed the winning outcome at the end. Doo Kung-Min netted 12 points, while Lee Seoung-Hyun added 11 points and 10 rebounds for the winners.
