KB Stars - S-Birds 80:82

S-Birds won 2011/2012 Championship as they swept the Final series over KB Stars. The third game became one of the most interesting, however the last in the series.
The guests trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 24-21 charge, which allowed them to win the game. S-Birds looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by KB Stars helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities.
It was a good game for international center Ha Eun-Joo (200-C-83) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds. Kim Danbi (180-F-90) contributed with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Beon Yeon-Ha (180-F-80) answered with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 5 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals. Kang Ajeong (180-F-89) added 22 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for KB Stars.
S-Birds won the first game 83:59 and the second 79:59.

East-West 116:116

Phenomenon All Star game brings 116:116 in Shinsegae. The teams showed great basketball and decided not to continue in overtime.
West started with 28-17 in the opening period, but could not win any other quarters. East bounced back with 39-36 to reduce the gap at the halftime. Both teams nailed 29 points each in the third quarter, that kept West in front after 30 minutes. East however needed 31-23 in the last stanza to tie the score. It was announced not to continue the game as everybody was happy with the score above.
Roberson Kimberly (178-G/F-86, college: Indiana) erupted with 19 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists. She was named MVP of the campaign. Kang Ajeong (180-F-89) top-scored in the game with 25 points for East and Park Jung-Eun (180-F-77) posted 23. Kim Jung-Eun (180-F-87) erupted with 37 points for West.
