The most interesting game of round 17 was a home defeat of 4th placed Tong Whye (2-3) by third ranked SAFSA Trident (3-2) who outscored them by 20 points 70-50 in the game for the third place. SAFSA Trident maintains third place with 3-2 record having just two points less than leader An Ke, which they share with 3 other teams. Tong Whye at the other side keeps the fourth position with three games lost. They share it with 5 other teams.
The game between Top Four teams took place in Singapore. Second ranked host SG Bball (4-1) smashed 4th placed Punggol Coast (2-3) 74-52. SG Bball have a solid series of three victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with 6 other teams. Punggol Coast lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with three games lost. Hua Sports Club have won ActiveSG-BAS National Masters Cup 2017 last night. In the Final game they beat Freeman 64-57. Hong Liang Electronics meanwhile clinched third place defeating PCW & Partners (Blue) 50-40. Earlier in the semifinals Freeman posted a 65-53 win over PCW & Partners.
