NBL Round 11: Adroit - TRT keeps a leadership position - Sep 3, 2016

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Adroit - TRT as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Adroit - TRT smashed 9th ranked Min Yi in Singapore 99-42. Adroit - TRT (8-1) have an impressive series of six victories in a row. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with SAFSA and SBPHK H. Min Yi lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Youth Select. Min Yi will play next round against Chong Chee trying to get back on the winning streak. It will be a derby game for which supporters look forward to, where their team will face at home their local rival from Singapore - Chong Chee. Adroit - TRT will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked SAFSA. It will be extra interesting game as SAFSA is their local rival from Singapore.
Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Singapore: Siglap (#4) and SinKee (#5). Siglap (7-2) crushed visiting SinKee (5-4) by 16 points 70-54. Siglap maintains fourth place with 7-2 record. SinKee at the other side keeps the fifth position with four games lost. They share it with Tong Whye. Siglap's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Singapore to the arena SBPHK H..
Another exciting game was again a derby between two local teams from Singapore: SBPHK H. (#3) and Tampines WM (#11). Tampines WM was crushed at home by 20 points 53-73. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for SBPHK H.. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with SAFSA and Adroit - TRT. Tampines WM lost their sixth game in a row. They stay at the bottom place with nine games lost. Xin Hua Sports Club and SAFSA reached the Final in Singapore. Xin Hua Sports Club overcame Siglap 62-51. Yap Ching Poh stepped up with 17 points and Ubanan scored 9. Khoo Huat netted 13 in a loss, whilst Low Jun and Chong Xuan delivered 12 each. SAFSA grabbed a 51-50 win over the Hornets. The Regular Season in NBL just ended. The fans could enjoy quite many interesting games in the last round. The round ended with derby games and favorites losing the games.
