NBL Round 4: SinKee beats Min Yi by one after a very close game - Aug 18, 2016

The most exciting game of round 4 in the NBL took place in Singapore. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 8th ranked Min Yi (1-2) to top-ranked SinKee (4-0) 77-76 on Wednesday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. SinKee have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 4-0 record. Min Yi at the other side dropped to the seventh place with two games lost. They share the position with Tong Whye. SinKee will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Min Yi will play against Tampines WM (#10) and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
Bottom-ranked Youth Select is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their fourth consecutive match to fifth ranked SAFSA (2-1) 82-49. SAFSA maintains fifth position with 2-1 record. Youth Select at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. SAFSA will play against Tong Whye (#8) in the next round. Youth Select will have a break next round.
Bottom-ranked Tampines WM is still unable to win any game. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they lost on the road their third consecutive match to second ranked Adroit - TRT (3-1) 74-61 on Wednesday evening. Adroit - TRT maintains second position with 3-1 record behind leader SinKee, which they share with SBPHK H. Loser Tampines WM still closes the standings with three games lost. Adroit - TRT will meet at home Tagawa (#6) in the next round. Tampines WM will play against Min Yi (#7) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
The game in was also worth to mention about. Top-ranked Siglap (2-0) played at the court of 7th ranked Tong Whye (1-2). Siglap managed to secure a 7-point victory 58-51. Siglap maintains fourth position with 2-0 record. Tong Whye at the other side keeps the seventh place with two games lost. Siglap's next round opponent will be Chong Chee (#9) where they are favorite. Tong Whye will play against SAFSA and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last game of round 4 Chong Chee was smashed by SBPHK H. on the road 71-38.

Tong Whye - Siglap 51-58

The game in was also worth to mention about. Top-ranked Siglap (2-0) played at the court of 7th ranked Tong Whye (1-2). Siglap managed to secure a 7-point victory 58-51. Siglap maintains fourth position with 2-0 record. Tong Whye at the other side keeps the seventh place with two games lost. Siglap's next round opponent will be Chong Chee (#9) where they are favorite. Tong Whye will play against SAFSA and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

SAFSA - Youth Select 82-49

No shocking result in a game when third ranked SBPHK H. (3-1) crushed at home 9th ranked Chong Chee (1-3) 71-38. SBPHK H. have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Adroit - TRT. Chong Chee at the other side keeps the ninth position with three games lost. SBPHK H. will have a break next round. Chong Chee will play against Siglap (#4) and hope to win that game.

Adroit - TRT - Tampines WM 74-61
