AMK Bravehearts (Pro-Am SBL) agreed to terms with 27-year old American combo guard Lawrence Tyson (193-G-88, college: CS San Bernar.) He played most recently at CEB Puerto Montt in the Chile Liga-Nacional where he led the team with 19.8ppg, 6.0rpg, 3.1apg, 1.6spg, FGP: 45.9%, 3PT: 36.8%, FT: 76.2% in 20 games.

In the previous season, he was with Club Deportes Las Animas where he averaged 17.1ppg, 4.6rpg, 2.7apg, 1.0spg, FGP: 42.9%, FT: 76.6%. In 2011-2012, he also played with Club Osorno Basquetbol and averaged 19.1 ppg, 5.6 rpg and 3.3apg.

The 5-year professional player attended Cal.St.-San Bernardino (NCAA2) where he was a starting five.

Lawrence Tyson is described by scouts as "An excellent combo guard who can shift between the point guard and shooting guard spot, and with the ability to really score and connect from beyond the 3pt line. He looks to draw a lot of contact and still get to the rim to finish or pass off. He has excellent vision and lays perfect passes down for teammates".
