Jeffers Kyle (207-C-85, college: Oregon St.) notched 25 points and 11 rebounds to lead the effort. The Slingers stormed into the game. They unloaded 35 points in the first period to establish a 15-point lead. The hosts held the Cobras to just 7 points in the second frame to pile up a 52:27 halftime advantage. The Cobras showed signs of recovery in the third term. They outscored the home team but still trailed by massive 24 points with ten minutes remaining. The Cobras erupted for 30 points in the final frame but still came up short of victory at the end. Graham Louis (205-F/C-84) tallied 21 points and 10 boards for the home team. Dulay Donald (173-G-80) had 19 points in the win. Jai Reyes (173-G) answered with 21 points for the Cobras. The Singapore Slingers are out of ASEAN League playoff race. They lost tonight to the Indonesia Warriors and got eliminated from the battle for the fourth position in the ladder. The Thailand Slammers will be the last (fourth) participant of the playoffs. Chris Daniels (200-PF-82, college: Georgia) stepped up with 15 points and 21 rebounds to lead the Warriors to the victory today. The hosts jumped to a 13:6 lead midway through the first quarter. The Warriors though capped the opening period on a 9:2 rally to gain 15:13 lead. The visitors maintained the advantage throughout the second period. The Warriors arrived at halftime up by 7 points 33:26. The Slingers sparked intrigue late in the period cutting the deficit at 3-point mark. But the Warriors quickly responded and entered the fourth frame up by 8 points. They never looked back in the fourth term and sealed the win at the end.
