Wilkerson
Al Karkh (Superleague) signed 26-year old American forward Antwan Wilkerson (201-100kg-91, college: Johnson C. Smith). He just played at Al Noor in Saudi Arabian SBL league. A very impressive season as he was named to Asia-Basket.com All-Saudi Arabian SBL Honorable Mention. Wilkerson also played earlier that season for Al Ittihad (Premier League) in Bahrain.
His team was regular season runner-up in CIAA Southern Division in 2012.
Wilkerson has played on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). He has played previously professionally also in Cyprus (Omonia) and Bolivia (Bolmar).
Wilkerson attended Johnson C. Smith University until 2014 and it is his third season as a professional player.

Uhud Medina (SBL) agreed terms with 30-year old Morocco ex-international power forward Omar Lanani (210-87). He is a dual citizen owning also Senegalese passport. Lanani played most recently at FAR Rabat in Moroccan D1 league.

Al Ahli Jeddah (SBL) agreed terms with 32-year old American forward Emanuel Jones (200-85, college: UTRGV). He played last summer at Guizhou in Chinese NBL league. In two games he had very impressive stats: 27.5ppg, 10.0rpg, 3.0apg and 3.5spg. The last season Jones played at Mayrouba in Lebanese Pepsi LBL where in 11 games he recorded also remarkable stats: 24.9ppg, 7.6rpg, 2.1apg, 1.7spg and 1.0bpg. SBL Round 3: Uhud defeats Al Fateh in the game between Top 4 teams - 5 days ago
An interesting game for Uhud (3-0) which played road game in Al Hasa against Al Fateh (1-2). Uhud managed to get a 7-point victory 96-89. Uhud is looking forward to face Al Nasr (#4) in Riyadh in the next round. Al Fateh will play on the road against Al Safa in Safwa and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident. Al Hilal (3-0) had no problems winning another game.
