Al Fateh Al Hasa (SBL) added to their roster 29-year old American (has also Ghanian passport) small forward Asenso Ampim (203-105kg-88, college: Columbia, agency: Octagon Europe). He played last season at Union Rennes Basket 35 in French ProA U21. Ampim managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year. In four NM1 games he had 13.8ppg, 6.5rpg, 1.3apg and 1.0spg. Newly promoted Al Safa of Safwa (SBL) tabbed 25-year old American forward Shane Heyward (200-97kg-92, college: Columbus State). He played in the summer at Ostioneros de Guaymas in Mexican CIBACOPA. In 25 games he averaged 10.6ppg, 6.2rpg and 2.0bpg. Heyward helped them to make it to the semifinals. Al Ahli Jeddah (SBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 28-year old American forward Taylor Brown (200-89, college: Bradley). He was tested by Real Betis in Spanish Liga Endesa. Brown ended the last season at Lietuvos rytas in Lithuanian LKL where in 17 games he recorded 8.0ppg and 4.5rpg. Brown helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league.
