Al Ahli Jeddah (SBL) tabbed experienced 34-year old Jordanian international forward Zaid Abbas (203-92kg-83). He started the season at Jiangsu Tongxi Monkey Kings in Chinese CBA league. In 30 games he averaged impressive 21.9ppg, 10.9rpg, 2.9apg and 1.7spg this season. The last season Abbas played at Azad (Superleague) in Iran where in four games he had 10.0ppg, 5.5rpg and 1.3spg. Among other achievements he played in the final of Chinese CBA in 2013. Abbas received also Asia-basket.com All-FIBA Asia Challenge 2nd Team award in 2016. He represented Jordan at the FIBA Asia Challenge in Tehran (Iran) last year. Abbas' team won Bronze and his stats at that event were 8 games: 13.1ppg, 5.4rpg, 2.0apg, 1.4spg, 1.0bpg, FGP: 46.4%, 3PT: 35.7%, FT: 69.7%. Abbas is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in four different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with Asian, African and of course North American leagues. Abbas has played previously professionally in Lebanon (Byblos), Tunisia (Club Africain) and Jordan (Zain and ASU).

Al Nasr and Al Hilal reached the Semifinals as they beat their opponents in the quarterfinal clashes 2-1. Al Hilal grabbed a narrow 75-74 win over Al Ittihad as they advanced to the next stage after losing the opener.
Al-Nasr overcame Al-Ahli 86-80. In game 1 they posted an 88-81 win, but then lost to the opponent 73-81.

It is actually his comeback to Halcones de Ciudad Obregon as he has played here before. Brown just played at played at Al Ahli Jeddah in Saudi Arabian SBL league. Brown's career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in seven different countries. Brown tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Latin America and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in Belgium (Basic Fit Brussels), Germany (Fraport Skyliners II), Israel (Maccabi Rishon), Lithuania (Lietuvos rytas), Poland (Wilki Morskie), Turkey (Darussafaka) and Sweden (Nassjo). Brown attended Bradley University until 2012 and it is his sixth season as a professional player. On Brown:

Al-Nahdha beat Al Noor 47-46 for a Saudi Basketball League Div 1 2017/18 title. They grabbed a 15-11 lead but saved only a narrow 26-25 advantage at the halftime. Al Noor replied with another 14-11 rally in the third quarter for a 2-point lead after three periods. Al-Nahdha meanwhile closed the game with the final 10-7 run to seal the victory. [read more]
