The most exciting game of round 13 in the SBL took place in Medina. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 7th ranked Al Ansar (6-7) to second ranked Al Nasr (10-2) 69-66 on Friday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Despite that victory Al Nasr went down to fourth position due to points difference. Al Ansar at the other side keeps the seventh place with seven games lost.
SBL top team - Al Fateh (12-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eighth ranked Al Wehda (4-8) in Mecca 108-64. Undefeated Al Fateh have an impressive series of twelve victories in a row. They maintain first place with 12-0 record. Al Wehda at the other side keeps the eighth position with eight games lost.
Fourth ranked Al Ittihad (11-3) crushed at home 12th ranked Al Noor (1-12) by 57 points 78-21, which is the biggest margin this round on Friday night. Defending champion moved-up to third place. Al Noor lost their tenth game in a row. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom position with 12 games lost.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 13: Al Ansar was destroyed by Al Ittihad on the opponent's court 78-59. Uhud managed to outperform Al Hilal in a home game 91-82. Al Nahda recorded a loss to Al Arabi on the road 87-75. Al Ahli Jeddah defeated Al Salam on its own court 83-74.
