The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Jeddah: Al Ittihad (#4) and Al Ahli Jeddah (#5). Al Ahli Jeddah was smashed at home by 16 points 51-67 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Defending champion maintains fourth position with 7-2 record. Al Ahli Jeddah at the other side keeps the fifth place with four games lost. Al Ittihad will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Al Ahli Jeddah's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face again at home their local rival from Jeddah Al Ittihad.
Undefeated leader Al Fateh delivered the ninth consecutive win. This time they crushed 10th ranked Al Nahda (2-8) 91-68 in Al Hasa. Undefeated Al Fateh (9-0) have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 9 victories in a row. Newly promoted Al Nahda dropped to the ninth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Al Salam. Al Fateh will again play against Al Nahda (#10) in Al Khobar in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Al Nahda will have a break next round.
The game with biggest result difference took place in Riyadh. Local Al Hilal (4-5) outscored 8th ranked Al Wehda (3-6) 82-54 on Thursday night. Al Hilal maintains seventh position with 4-5 record.
