There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in SBL.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Al Ansar (1-1) in Riyadh on Friday night. Visitors were defeated by Al Nasr (2-0) 72-64.
The game in Riyadh was also worth to mention about. Uhud (2-0) played at the court of Al Hilal (0-2). Uhud managed to secure a 8-point victory 79-71.
Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Al Arabi (0-1) and Al Nahda (1-1), which took place in Al Khobar. Al Arabi lost to Al Nahda in a road game 48-62 on Friday.
The game between Al Noor (0-2) and Al Ittihad (2-0) in Mecca ended with biggest points difference. Guests from Jeddah outscored Al Noor 102-43.

In the last game of round 2 Al Ahli Jeddah beat Al Salam on the road 89-76.

Al Nasr and Al Hilal reach Semifinals - 19 hours ago
Al Nasr and Al Hilal reached the Semifinals as they beat their opponents in the quarterfinal clashes 2-1. Al Hilal grabbed a narrow 75-74 win over Al Ittihad as they advanced to the next stage after losing the opener. Al-Nasr overcame Al-Ahli 86-80. In game 1 they posted an 88-81 win, but then lost to the opponent 73-81. The semifinal games are schedules for April 21st.   [read more]

TAYLOR BROWN Defending champion Halcones de Ciudad Obregon (CIBACOPA) agreed terms with 28-year old American forward Taylor Brown (200-89, college: Bradley). It is actually his comeback to Halcones de Ciudad Obregon as he has played here before. Brown just played at played at Al Ahli Jeddah in Saudi Arabian SBL league. Al-Nahdha beat Al Noor for a Saudi Basketball League Div 1 2017/18 title - 12 days ago
Al-Nahdha beat Al Noor 47-46 for a Saudi Basketball League Div 1 2017/18 title. They grabbed a 15-11 lead but saved only a narrow 26-25 advantage at the halftime. Al Noor replied with another 14-11 rally in the third quarter for a 2-point lead after three periods. Al-Nahdha meanwhile closed the game with the final 10-7 run to seal the victory.   [read more]
