SBL Round 2: Al Nasr defeats Al Ansar - Nov 19, 2016

There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in SBL.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Al Ansar (1-1) in Riyadh on Friday night. Visitors were defeated by Al Nasr (2-0) 72-64.
The game in Riyadh was also worth to mention about. Uhud (2-0) played at the court of Al Hilal (0-2). Uhud managed to secure a 8-point victory 79-71.
Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Al Arabi (0-1) and Al Nahda (1-1), which took place in Al Khobar. Al Arabi lost to Al Nahda in a road game 48-62 on Friday.
The game between Al Noor (0-2) and Al Ittihad (2-0) in Mecca ended with biggest points difference. Guests from Jeddah outscored Al Noor 102-43.

In the last game of round 2 Al Ahli Jeddah beat Al Salam on the road 89-76.

Defending champion BC Igokea Aleksandrovac (Division I) landed 25-year old American guard Desi Washington (188-83kg-92, college: St.Peter's, agency: Interperformances). He played most recently at Uhud in Saudi Arabian SBL league. Among other achievements Washington's team made it to the MAAC Tournament Semifinals in 2015.
