Asenso Ampim
Al Fateh Al Hasa (SBL) added to their roster 29-year old American (has also Ghanian passport) small forward Asenso Ampim (203-105kg-88, college: Columbia, agency: Octagon Europe). He played last season at Union Rennes Basket 35 in French ProA U21. Ampim managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year. In four NM1 games he had 13.8ppg, 6.5rpg, 1.3apg and 1.0spg. He also played that season for BC Siauliai in Lithuanian LKL where in 13 games he recorded 11.2ppg, 4.8rpg, 1.6apg and 1.1spg. Ampim also played 3 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he averaged 9.3ppg, 4.0rpg, 2.7apg and 2.7spg. His team made it to the Baltic League Final Four.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Ampim was voted Eurobasket.com Estonian League All-Imports Team back in 2014.
He is quite experienced player. Ampim's career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in five different countries. Ampim tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in Finland (Tampereen Pyrinto), Lebanon (Beirut), South Korea (Samsung Thunders) and Estonia (TLU/Kalev).
Ampim attended Columbia University until 2012 and it will be his sixth season as a professional player.

Al Nasr and Al Hilal reach Semifinals - 3 days ago
Al Nasr and Al Hilal reached the Semifinals as they beat their opponents in the quarterfinal clashes 2-1. Al Hilal grabbed a narrow 75-74 win over Al Ittihad as they advanced to the next stage after losing the opener. Al-Nasr overcame Al-Ahli 86-80. In game 1 they posted an 88-81 win, but then lost to the opponent 73-81. The semifinal games are schedules for April 21st.   [read more]

TAYLOR BROWN Defending champion Halcones de Ciudad Obregon (CIBACOPA) agreed terms with 28-year old American forward Taylor Brown (200-89, college: Bradley). It is actually his comeback to Halcones de Ciudad Obregon as he has played here before. Brown just played at played at Al Ahli Jeddah in Saudi Arabian SBL league. Al-Nahdha beat Al Noor for a Saudi Basketball League Div 1 2017/18 title - 14 days ago
Al-Nahdha beat Al Noor 47-46 for a Saudi Basketball League Div 1 2017/18 title. They grabbed a 15-11 lead but saved only a narrow 26-25 advantage at the halftime. Al Noor replied with another 14-11 rally in the third quarter for a 2-point lead after three periods. Al-Nahdha meanwhile closed the game with the final 10-7 run to seal the victory.   [read more]
