Premier League round 5 most important game was a victory of Al Ahli over 8th ranked Al Qadisiya 71-70 on Thursday night. Al Ahli maintains sixth place with 3-3 record. Al Qadisiya lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with four games lost. They share it with Al Nahdha. Al Ahli are looking forward to face Al Nahdha (#8) in Al Khobar in the next round. Al Qadisiya will play at home against the league's leader Al Ittihad in Jeddah and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
Premier League top team - Al Ittihad (6-0) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat ninth ranked Al Nahdha (2-4) in Al Khobar 76-66. Undefeated Al Ittihad have an impressive series of six victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 6-0 record. Al Nahdha at the other side dropped to the eighth position with four games lost. They share it with Al Qadisiya. Al Ittihad will play against Al Qadisiya (#9) in Al Khubar in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Al Nahdha will play at home against Al Ahli in Jeddah and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Leader Uhud blasted bottom-ranked Al Nasr (0-5) in Medina 82-52 on Thursday evening keeping the perfect record after 5 rounds. Al Nasr is still unable to win any game. The victory was the third consecutive win for Uhud. They maintain second place with 5-0 record behind leader Al Ittihad. Al Nasr lost their fifth game in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with five games lost. They share the position with Al Khaleej and Al Jubail. Al Wehda's next round opponent will be Al Khaleej (#11) and are hoping to win another game. Al Jubail will play against Al Fath in Al Hasa and looks forward to get finally their first victory.

Al Fath will face Al Jubail (#10) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Al Khaleej will play against Al Wehda in Mecca and looks forward to get finally their first victory.

In the last game of round 5 Al Hilal was beaten by Al Ansar on the road 72-54.


Al Qadisiya - Al Ahli 70-71
