Lebanon U18-Saudi Arabia U18 89:78

Lebanon ended up on the 7th place at the 22nd Asia U18 Championship. The team overcame Saudi Arabia U18 89:78 in the first game of the Final Day.
Lebanon started the game with 21-16, but Saudi Arabia replied with 22-15 in the second frame to take the lead at the halftime. Only due to the second half the Lebanese team managed to seal the victory. They produced 26-14 in the third period and finished the game with 27-26. Wael Arakji (192-G-94) made the last two free throws for the final success.
Wael Arakji top-scored for the winners with 31 points, while Hanna Nemer (177-G-94) and Elie Chamoun (193-F-94) posted 16 each. Ali Mezher (182-PG-94) followed them with 9 points in a win. Waheed Faqihi (185-F-94) and Nassir Abojalas (195-F-94) finished the game with 19 points each. Safwan Mohammed (203-C-94) notched 14, whilst Mohammed Alhosawe (173-G-94) and Asslam Bafarat (197-F/C-94) had 10 each.

Al-Fateh wins Prince Faisal Basketball Cup 2016 beating in the Final game Al-Ansar. Al-Fath dominated the majority of the game to seal a 93-76 win. Earlier Al-Fateh won over Uhud 79-81 at the Hall of Youth Care Al Ahsa in the Semifinal game. Al-Ansar meanwhile posted a 90-74 win over Al-Ittihad at the Hall of Youth Care. Al Ittihad Jeddah club signed with the American swingman Rashad Woods (197-G/F-86, college: Kent St.) since Feb 2016 .. Outlook Rashad Woods is a very Strong G/F, an athletic player that has a mid range game, 3 point shooting threat and can finish extremely well at the basket. Uhud Medina (SBL) signed 29-year old American forward Christopher Hayes (203-87, college: Detroit Mercy). He moved there from Al Jazeera in UAE D1 league where he played this season. The last season Hayes played at Winner/Limeira in Brazilian Brazilian NBB. In 35 games he had 9.8ppg, 3.4rpg and 1.1apg. He helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league.
