Taiwan U18-Saudi Arabia U18 77:38

Taiwan destroy Saudi Arabia at the Classification Round for 5-8 places at the 22nd Asia U18 Championship. They had an easy 77:38 win and will play tomorrow for the 5th place. Saudi Arabia meanwhile will find out later the opponent for the 7th place.
Taiwan won the first period 14:10 , but Saudi Arabia stayed tough and replied with 13-12 in the second period. The second half however fully belonged to the winning side. Taiwan won the third period 28-7 and finished with 23-8 in the last stanza.
Fang Shih-En (199-C-94) top-scored for the winners with 17 points and 13 rebounds, while Chin Ming-Ching (194-F-94) posted 10. Lee Chia-Jui (200-C-94) notched 9 and Lin Kuan-Chun (184-G-95) delivered 8. Nassir Abojalas (195-F-94) answered with 17 points and 10 rebounds in defeat, while Mahmoud Ahmedkhalil (170-G-94), Khalid Sufyani (170-PG-94) and Safwan Mohammed (203-C-94) had 5 each.

Al Ittihad conquer Saudi Basketball Premier League 2015/2016 title as they won the Final series against Al-Ahli. In Game 1 Al Ittihad celebrated a 76-73 win and then the opponents replied with an 86-73 victory. In Game 3 Al Ittihad took the lead in the series after a 73-68 win. Last night they added another 65-63 thrilling victory to win the series 3-1. The score was tied several times at 33-33 and then at the very end with 63-63. Al-Fateh wins Prince Faisal Basketball Cup 2016 beating in the Final game Al-Ansar. Al-Fath dominated the majority of the game to seal a 93-76 win. Earlier Al-Fateh won over Uhud 79-81 at the Hall of Youth Care Al Ahsa in the Semifinal game. Al-Ansar meanwhile posted a 90-74 win over Al-Ittihad at the Hall of Youth Care. Al Ittihad Jeddah club signed with the American swingman Rashad Woods (197-G/F-86, college: Kent St.) since Feb 2016 .. Outlook Rashad Woods is a very Strong G/F, an athletic player that has a mid range game, 3 point shooting threat and can finish extremely well at the basket.
