Saudi Arabia U18-Bahrain U18 72:75

Mahamed Naser (191-F-97) leads Bahrain over Saudi Arabia in Day 5 of the 22nd Asia U18 Championship. He nailed 25 points as Bahrain grabbed important 75:72 win over the opponents. Bahrain improved to 1-3 record to keep the chances alive for the Quarterfinals, while Saudi Arabia fell at 0-4 record.
It was a real battle for the initial win in Group F. Both teams scored 15 points each in the first period, but then Bahrain erupted with 26-11 in the second frame for 15-point advantage at the halftime. Moreover they added 26-18 in the third period but could hardly win the game. Safwan Mohammed (203-C-94) reduced to 3 points at the end, while Waheed Faqihi (185-F-94) could not tie the game.
Mohammed Buallay (185-F-95) poured in 18 points and Ali Sayed Hasan (182-F-94) scored 13. Ali Hassan Shukralla collected 10 points and 11 rebounds in the winning effort. Nassir Abojalas (195-F-94) finished the game with massive 25 points and 20 rebounds, whilst Safwan Mohammed had 16 points and 11 boards. Waheed Faqihi notched 11 and Mohammed Alhosawe (173-G-94) poured in 10.

SBL Round 3: Uhud defeats Al Fateh in the game between Top 4 teams - 4 days ago
An interesting game for Uhud (3-0) which played road game in Al Hasa against Al Fateh (1-2). Uhud managed to get a 7-point victory 96-89. Uhud is looking forward to face Al Nasr (#4) in Riyadh in the next round. Al Fateh will play on the road against Al Safa in Safwa and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident. Al Hilal (3-0) had no problems winning another game. Al Fateh Al Hasa (SBL) confirmed in their roster 33-year old Serbian power forward Danilo Mitrovic (209-102kg-84). He played there last season. Al Nasr Riyadh (SBL) inked 31-year old Tunisian international power forward Hamdi Braa (203-86). He has played for the last two years at ES Sahel in Tunisian Division I. Braa helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. Among other achievements he received Afrobasket.com Egyptian Superleague All-Imports Team award in 2015.
