Tyler Amaya
Al Fath announced Tyler Amaya (199-F-82, college: W.Washington) before the start of the Arabian Gulf Championship. The Saudi Arabian team brought American Forward.
In 2009-2010 he was at workout with Houston Rockets (NBA). Later Tyler moved to Seattle Mountaineers (ABA) and in Dec.'09 signed at Al Jalaa Aleppo (Syria-D1), for try-outs only. In 2010 appeared for Otago Nuggets (New Zealand-NBL, starting five) and in 18 games averaged 22.9ppg, 6.7rpg, 4.1apg, 1.3spg, FGP: 49.7%, 3PT: 29.9%, FT: 66.2%.
In 2010-2011 headed to Seattle Mountaineers (ABA), and in March'11 moved to Meharda (Syria-D1). The season 2011 started for Bellingham Slam (IBL) and in Dec.'11 signed at Al Jubail (Saudi Arabia-Premier League).
Only last year Tyler Amaya was awarded Asia-Basket.com All-Syrian League Honorable Mention -11, Asia-Basket.com Syrian League All-Imports Team -11 and IBL Continental Division Regular Season Champion -11.
Earlier Tyler Amaya played for Duesseldorf Magics (Germany-ProA), Guandong Southern Tigers (China-CBA) and Woon!Aris Leeuwarden (Eredivisie). He graduated from Western Washington.   



SBL Round 13: Al Nasr defeats Al Ansar in the closest game of the week - 5 days ago
The most exciting game of round 13 in the SBL took place in Medina. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 7th ranked Al Ansar (6-7) to second ranked Al Nasr (10-2) 69-66 on Friday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Despite that victory Al Nasr went down to fourth position due to points difference. Al Ansar at the other side keeps the seventh place with seven games lost. Hoops tab Antonio Haymon, ex Al Ittihad !! - 8 days ago
Hoops Club (Pepsi LBL) inked 29-year old American swingman Antonio Haymon (198-102kg-88, college: Lee). He played most recently at Al Ittihad in Saudi Arabian SBL league. In 5 games he averaged impressive 21.2ppg, 9.8rpg and 5.2apg last season. Haymon also played that season for Al Salam (also in SBL) where in 12 games he had very remarkable stats: 31.1ppg, 11.3rpg and 4.3apg. Newly promoted Al Nahda Al Khobar (SBL) inked American forward Neshard Walker (203-103kg, college: Chabot CC). He played in the summer at Marietta Tarantulas (EBA) in the U.S. Walker graduated from Chabot CC in 2013 and it is his fourth season in pro basketball.
