Tyler Amaya
Al Fath announced Tyler Amaya (199-F-82, college: W.Washington) before the start of the Arabian Gulf Championship. The Saudi Arabian team brought American Forward.
In 2009-2010 he was at workout with Houston Rockets (NBA). Later Tyler moved to Seattle Mountaineers (ABA) and in Dec.'09 signed at Al Jalaa Aleppo (Syria-D1), for try-outs only. In 2010 appeared for Otago Nuggets (New Zealand-NBL, starting five) and in 18 games averaged 22.9ppg, 6.7rpg, 4.1apg, 1.3spg, FGP: 49.7%, 3PT: 29.9%, FT: 66.2%.
In 2010-2011 headed to Seattle Mountaineers (ABA), and in March'11 moved to Meharda (Syria-D1). The season 2011 started for Bellingham Slam (IBL) and in Dec.'11 signed at Al Jubail (Saudi Arabia-Premier League).
Only last year Tyler Amaya was awarded Asia-Basket.com All-Syrian League Honorable Mention -11, Asia-Basket.com Syrian League All-Imports Team -11 and IBL Continental Division Regular Season Champion -11.
Earlier Tyler Amaya played for Duesseldorf Magics (Germany-ProA), Guandong Southern Tigers (China-CBA) and Woon!Aris Leeuwarden (Eredivisie). He graduated from Western Washington.

Al-Fateh wins Prince Faisal Basketball Cup 2016 beating in the Final game Al-Ansar. Al-Fath dominated the majority of the game to seal a 93-76 win. Earlier Al-Fateh won over Uhud 79-81 at the Hall of Youth Care Al Ahsa in the Semifinal game. Al-Ansar meanwhile posted a 90-74 win over Al-Ittihad at the Hall of Youth Care. In the Quarterfinal game Al-Fath edged Al-Wehda 68-61.   [read more]

Al Ittihad Jeddah club signed with the American swingman Rashad Woods (197-G/F-86, college: Kent St.) since Feb 2016 .. Outlook Rashad Woods is a very Strong G/F, an athletic player that has a mid range game, 3 point shooting threat and can finish extremely well at the basket. He is a good defender and he can defend 1-4 positions.He plays the game the way it's supposed to be played, hard and all out, on both ends. At 6'5" he is an high flyer the loves to dunk and rebound. Uhud signs Christopher Hayes, ex Al Jazeera for GCC !! - May 10, 2016

Uhud Medina (SBL) signed 29-year old American forward Christopher Hayes (203-87, college: Detroit Mercy). He moved there from Al Jazeera in UAE D1 league where he played this season. The last season Hayes played at Winner/Limeira in Brazilian Brazilian NBB. In 35 games he had 9.8ppg, 3.4rpg and 1.1apg. He helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league.
