Chudney Gray
Chudney Gray (188-G-78, college: St.John's) jonied Al Ahli Jeddah to play al Nukbah Cup.

Outlook:
Very talented player, who can play both guard positions, with an impressive variety of offensive moves; needs to play in the right system, but when he's hot he can kill you.
Lowgators head coach Doug Marty had this to say about Gray's game: Chudney performed remarkably well from day one, in the thick of a playoff run. Defensively, Chudney is a hard-nosed, on-the-ball hawk with outstanding anticipation and positioning instincts. Offensively, Chudney gets to the basket and free-throw line extremely well, distributes the ball like a true quarterback, and in addition, is a credible shooter out to the arc.'

Manama clinch semi-final spot in 37th GCC Clubs Basketball Championship - 8 days ago
MANAMA punched their semi-final tickets last night while Al Ahli bowed out from further title contention in the 37th GCC Clubs Basketball Championship, being held in Bahrain. National champions Manama survived a late collapse to escape with a narrow 100-98 victory over Saudi Arabia's Al Ittihad. Fellow-Bahrainis Al Ahli, meanwhile, battled hard but came up short in the end against Qatari outfit Al Rayyan 81-89. In yesterday's other knockout contests, defending champions Al Ahli of the UAE...   [read more]

Al Ahli hold off Ittihad - 11 days ago
BAHRAIN'S Al Ahli Club eked out a come-from-behind 93-84 victory over Saudi Arabia's Al Ittihad last night in the 37th GCC Clubs Basketball Championship. Hussain Shaker made a handful of decisive plays down the stretch to help the home side stay undefeated after two games in the group stages of the competition, which is being played at Zain Arena in Um Al Hassam. Shaker buried back-to-back three-pointers with just over two minutes to play to break an 82-all deadlock and put Ahli ahead for...   [read more]
