Prince Faisal Basketball Cup Quarterfinals - Jan 22, 2010 (by Eurobasket News)
The beginning of January brought the Round of 16 at the Prince Faisal Basketball Cup. In eight games the round sent eight teams to the Quarterfinals. On January 18th Al-Ansar overcame Al-Massira 79:39 in 1/4 Finals, while Al-Hilal beat Al-Wehda 83:48. Al-Ahli had a tough game but won over Al-Fath 71:67. Al-Ittihad outscored Uhud 67:63 in another Quarterfinals.
The Final Round is scheduled for February 22nd.

Al-Ittihad and Uhod left undefeated as they now on top with 7-0 records. In the latest games Al-Ittihad overcame Al Ahli 89:65 in the top game of the round. Both teams were unbeaten however a 25-12 in the start of the opening quarter was enough to control the rest of the game. Uhod meanwhile rolled over Al Ansar in another top game of the round. And also here both teams were unbeaten before the game with each other, while Uhod won the game to stay undefeated

Al Wahda strengthened their roster with addition of 33-year old Ivorian Center Mohamed Woni (208-F/C-77, college: Clemson). Woni played most recently at Hokkaido (Japan) .
Outlook:
Very similar offensive game to Hakeem Olajuwon; Great face up jumper up to 17; excellent baseline fade away and post moves, including up and under and other pivots; A scoring big man with a very nice touch
