Jones to Al Jahraa - Feb 2, 2012 (by Ali Ahmed)
Anthony Jones (196-G-77, college: Ohio) is a new member of Al Jahraa. The American Guard signed a deal for rest of the season.
Outlook:
Wing span of a 68 player. Great competitor.Very strong and mentally tough. Excellent slasher to the hoop. Excellent defender who can guard the 1,2 or 3 positions. Posts up on opposing guards. First I would like to thank my LORD and Savior for allowing me this opportunity to come back to Saudi Arabia for my second season. It feels good to be with my same team Al Nahda for the second yr. A recap from last season we finished 5th in the league and we make some many improvements as a team. This season we will have to work harder and smarter because we are missing a few guys from last season. I've been looking forward for this season for a few months now because I want to win more games this yr and make sure we are in a better standing from last yr. GOD willing everything will work its course. Tomorrow we have a game AL Ansar which is a strong team, but if we come to play tomorrow as a team it could go either way. I will Blog more this season so stay tuned guys....
