Balkan inks Jordan Callahan, ex Al Gharafa - Jan 9, 2018

Balkan Botevgrad (NBL) agreed terms with 28-year old American point guard Jordan Callahan (184-83kg-90, college: Tulane). He played recently at Al Gharafa in Qatari D1 league. Callahan ended the last season at Parma in Russian league where in 8 VTB United League games he had 5.6ppg, 1.8rpg and 2.6apg. But the most of that year he spent at Rosa in Polish PLK. In 9 games he recorded 12.8ppg, 1.9rpg, 2.1apg and 1.3spg. Callahan also played 8 games in Basketball Champions League where he averaged 11.4ppg, 2.3rpg and 3.5apg.
His team made it to the Belgian final in 2015.
Callahan has played also professionally in Germany (Crailsheim Merlins), Poland (Anwil and Kotwica) and Belgium (Antwerp Giants).
He attended Tulane University until 2013 and it is his fifth season as a professional player.

He is a dual citizen owning also Ghanian passport. Bryan-Amaning just played at Defensor in Uruguayan LUB league.
