27-year old point guard James Justice (178-PG-89) had a very impressive game in the last round for Qatar Club and receives a Asia-basket.com Player of the Week award for round 5.
He recorded a triple-double of 40 points adding also 10 rebounds and 13 assists, while his team edged out Al Shamal (#9, 1-3) 94-91. Qatar Club maintains the 5th position in Qatari league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Qatar Club will need more victories to improve their 3-1 record. In the team's last game Justice had a remarkable 72.2% from 2-point range. He turned to be Qatar Club's top player in his first season with the team. Martin Methodist College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Justice is in league's top in points (2nd best: 32.5ppg) and averages solid 3.0spg and 62.0% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Mohamed Haras of Al Shamal. He is a in his first season at Al Shamal. In the last game Haras recorded impressive double-double of 33 points and 20 rebounds. Bad luck as Al Shamal was edged by the higher-ranked Qatar Club (#5, 3-1) 94-91. Al Shamal managed to keep the same 9th spot in the standings. 3 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Al Shamal managed to get this year. Haras is a newcomer at Al Shamal and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 31.0ppg (#3). He also registered 22.0 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to another Qatar Club's star - forward Quinton Doggett (206-F-90). Doggett got into 30-points club by scoring 34 points in the last round. He went also for fourteen rebounds . He was another key player of Qatar Club, helping his team with a 94-91 win against the lower-ranked Al Shamal (#9, 1-3). Qatar Club needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 1 lost games. Doggett has a great season in Qatar. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 28.5ppg (5th best) and rebounds with 14.8rpg (3rd best).
