The Egyptian national team win over Annabi , 79/66 in the friendly match, which was held yesterday evening At Gharafa in the framework of the three friendly matches played by the Egyptian national team during the camp, in preparation for his participation in the African qualifying tournament .. The meeting was attended by HE Sheikh Saoud Bin Abdulrahman Al Thani Chairman of the basketball Federation and Egyptian Ambassador Mohamed Morsi and Dr. Majdi Abu Vrikhah Prime Egyptian Federation and Muhammad Ali Hobash General Secretary and Ahmed Bokachihh and Khamis Al Shuraim member Board of Directors and Saadoun Kuwari, executive director of the of Basketball Federation.

Daishon Knight (ex Qatar Club) joins Jets - 3 days ago
DAISHON KNIGHT Manawatu Jets (NBL) added to their roster 27-year old American guard Daishon Knight (185-86kg-91, college: Illinois State). He just played at played at Qatar Club in Qatari D1 league. Knight managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year. In 10 D1 games he had very impressive stats: 19.0ppg, 6.5rpg, 6.5apg and 1.0spg this season. Al Arabi and Al Wakrah marched into the final of the Emir Cup basketball tournament yesterday. At the Gharafa Sports Club, Nick Stover (198-F-93, college: S.Alabama) scored 33 points and dished five assists as Al Arabi defeated Al Shamal 96-79 in the first semi-final. Arabi took the first quarter honours leading 20-19, but Arabi fought back to edge ahead 51-39 at the end of the second period. Stover shines as Arabi sweep past Al Khor - 8 days ago
Nick Stover (198-F-93, college: S.Alabama) almost single-handedly swept Al Arabi into the semi-finals of the Emir Cup basketball tournament, his 42-point effort proving too much for Al Khor at the Al Gharafa Sports Club yesterday.
