Angelico Biella (SerieA) is close to add to their roster 28-year old Qatari international guard Trey Johnson (196-99kg-84, college: Jackson State, agency: Priority Sports). Its actually his comeback to Angelico Biella as he played here before. Johnson is a dual citizen owning also American passport. Johnson played for Bakersfield Jam (D-League) in the U.S.. In 15 games last year he recorded 13.3ppg, 3.2rpg and 4.9apg. He was called during the season by the New Orleans Hornets. But in 11 NBA games he averaged just 1.9ppg and 1.1rpg. Johnson also spent pre-season at BancaTercas that year.
In 2007 he was drafted by Jackson Wildcats (USBL) as #4 pick overall.
The former Jackson State star is in his sixth season in pro basketball.
Johnson won NBA Pacific Division championship title in 2011.
He was also voted Gatorade All-D-League 1st Team in 2011. Johnson played for Qatari Senior National Team this year.
He is quite experienced player. Johnson has played also professionally in France, Serbia (Vrsac), NBA (Cleveland Cavaliers, LA Lakers and Toronto Raptors) and MBEL (Jackson Jam).

TRAVIS FRANKLIN Al Gharafa Doha (D1) strengthened their roster with addition of 29-year old American forward Travis Franklin (200-98kg-88, college: Colorado State). Travis played recently at Louaize in Lebanese LBL league, but left the team earlier this month. In 20 games he recorded very impressive stats: 23.0ppg, 9.3rpg, 2.6apg and 1.7spg this season. MATTHEW BRYAN-AMANING Al Shamal Doha (D1) agreed terms with 29-year old British ex-international forward Matthew Bryan-Amaning (205-109kg-88, college: Washington). He is a dual citizen owning also Ghanian passport. Bryan-Amaning just played at Defensor in Uruguayan LUB league.
