Manny Adako
Manny Adako (203-F-87, agency: Court Side, college: Northeastern) will continue his career in Qatar. The Nigerian forward penned a deal with Al Gharrafah DOHA Club. Adako heads to his new team from Dutch Lasaulec Aris Leeuwarden, where he spent last two seasons. In the latest one the player averaged 12.9 points and 4.5 rebounds for 31 Eredivisie games. In 2010/11, Adako registered 14.5 ppg and 5.4 rpg for 39 appearances. He was awarded with Eurobasket.com All-Dutch Eredivisie Honorable Mention -11. It was the first season as a pro for Manny Adako, who graduated at Northeastern University in 2010. The forward collected 11.2 ppg and 4.3 rpg for 33 games with his school as a senior. They reached CAA Tournament Semifinals. In 2009, Manny Adako was named to All-CAA 3rd Team -09. It was his junior year and Adako collected 11.3 ppg, plus 4.2 rpg for 30 games.

Al Rayyan Doha (D1) signed 26-year old American center Marcus Bell (206-102kg-90, college: CS Stanislaus). He already started the season at Sitra Club in Bahrain Premier League. Bell also played earlier that season for Uhud (SBL) in Saudi Arabian league. The other team he played shortly was US Ansar (Division I) in Tunisian league. Al Rayyan Doha (D1) signed 23-year old American guard Addison Spruill (193-102kg-93, college: NC-Wilmington). He played most recently at Sanen in Japanese B League, but left. In 8 games he had 9.6ppg, 4.0rpg and 1.6apg last season. Spruill's team made it to the CAA Tournament Semifinals. He was voted All-CAA 1st Team in 2015 at his college time. Al Gharafa Doha (D1) inked 30-year old American guard Michael Taylor (186-85kg-86, college: Iowa State). He already started the season at Homenetmen in Lebanese Pepsi LBL. The last season Taylor played at Al Moutahed (also in Pepsi LBL) where in 28 games he recorded very impressive stats: 20.9ppg and 7.0rpg. He helped them to make it to the semifinals.
