Rayyan surged ahead in the semifinal series against Gharrafah. They claimed a narrow 75:73 victory in Game 3 to take 2-1 lead. DeVon Hardin (211-C-86) scored 18 points and collected 14 rebounds to pace the winners. Rayyan stormed into the game. They dominated every facet of the encounter to post a 28:13 lead. Rayyan maintained the lead throughout the second quarter. They secured a 44:30 halftime lead. Gharrafah however stopped the rot in the third term. They narrowed the gap at just two points 57:59 at the final break. Gharrafah pulled ahead midway through the final frame but Rayyan managed to eke out a narrow victory at the end. Chauncey Leslie (183-G-81, college: Iowa) delivered 15 points, while Tanguy Ngombo (197-F-84) added 14 points for the winners. Suleiman Braimoh (203-F-89, college: Rice) answered with 27 points for Gharrafah. Boney Watson (183-G, college: Sam Houston St.) had 25 points in the loss. Arabi avoided elimination posting the first win in the series versus Sadd. Shelton Colwell (202-C/F-80, college: Missouri St.) fired 21 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to pace Arabi to an 86:67 victory. The teams were tied at 24 after ten minutes but Arabi surged ahead in the second term. They established a 45:38 halftime lead. Arabi accounted for a 67:59 advantage with one quarter remaining. They never loosened the grasp and sealed the victory at the end. William Byrd (201-G/F-85, college: Ark.-Pine Bluff) notched 19 points and 8 rebounds, while Abdulai Jalloh (188-G-86, college: JMU) contributed 17 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists in the win. Jason Fontenet (178-PG-82, college: Oregon St.) replied with 19 points for Sadd. Michael Benjamin had 13 points and 14 boards in the loss.

Cage has played also professionally in Cyprus, Iraq (Duhok), Iran (BEEM), Mexico (Halcones Rojos), Philippines (Global Port), Saudi Arabia (Uhud) and Lebanon (Feytroun). Al Sadd triumphs at Arabian Gulf Basketball Clubs Championship 2013. The team from Qatar lost only one game at the campaign and sealed the title.
The team from Qatar started the tournament with the win against Kazma from Kuwait 73:55. In Day 2 Uhud from Saudi Arabia overcame Al Sadd 92:89. The latter finished the group with 2-1 record on the first place after a 89:73 win over ahli sadab from Oman.

In the Final game Al Sadd overcame Al-Ahli from United Arab Emirates 85:72. Al Rayyan took the third place at the tournament as they defeated Kazma from Kuwait in the game for the third place.
