ARNETT MOULTRIE

27-year old power forward Arnett Moultrie (208-F/C-90, agency: Interperformances) had a great game in the last round for NLEX RW and receives a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 4.
He had a double-double of 37 points and 17 rebounds, while his team beat Phoenix (#7, 2-2) 120-115. NLEX RW is placed at 10th position in Filipino league. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 3 games and recorded just one victory. Moultrie just recently signed at NLEX RW, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Mississippi State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Moultrie is in league's top in points (3rd best: 28.7ppg), rebounds (4th best: 17.0rpg) and averages solid 2.3bpg.

Second best performed player last round was John Fields (205-F/C-88) of Columbian Dyip. He is American forward in his first season at Columbian Dyip. In the last game Fields recorded impressive double-double of 34 points and 11 rebounds. Of course Columbian Dyip cruised to a 104-96 relatively comfortable win over slightly higher-ranked Rain or Shine (#3, 3-1). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Columbian Dyip consolidated its place in top 4 of the standings. His team's 3-2 record is not bad at all. Fields is one of the most experienced players at Columbian Dyip and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 36.5ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 13.5rpg and 3.5apg.

Third place about best performers goes to center Reginald Johnson (208-C-89) of Rain or Shine (#3). Johnson got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. He went also for seventeen rebounds . Despite Johnson's great performance Rain or Shine lost 96-104 to #4 ranked Columbian Dyip. But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Rain or Shine needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 3 victories and 1 lost games. Johnson has a great season in Philippines. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 26.3ppg (5th best) and rebounds with 17.0rpg (3rd best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Jarrid Famous (209-C/F-88) of Blackwater Elite - 25 points, 17 rebounds and 2 assists
5. Baser Amer (180-PG-92) of Meralco Bolts - 28 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists
6. Charles Garcia (208-F-88) of Ginebra Kings - 18 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists
7. Chris Newsome (187-G-90) of Meralco Bolts - 23 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists
8. Ian Paul Sangalang (201-F/C-91) of Hotshots - 22 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists
9. Arinze Onuaku (206-C/F-87) of Meralco Bolts - 13 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists
10. Sean Anthony (193-F-86) of Global Port - 20 points, 11 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
