Talk N Text Tropang Texters ruled the 2013 PBA Philippine Cup last night by sweeping the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters. But Coach Norman Black's troops have no time to celebrate as they brace for the next task at hand, the Commissioner's Cup that will start on February 8.

The tournament is an import-laden conference featuring pure-foreign players with unlimited height for each team. As of the moment, the following PBA teams have finalized their choice of imports that will reinforce their campaigns for the upcoming tourney:

PBA Commissioners Cup 2013 Imports:

Air21 Express - Michael Dunigan (208-C-89, agency: N.E.T., college: Oregon)
Height: 6'10", 250 lbs
Age: 23

Barako Bull Energy - Evan Brock (204-F-84, college: Alabama)
Height: 6' 9", 220 lbs
Age: 28

Barangay Ginebra San Miguel - Hill Herbert (208-F-84, college: Providence)
Height: 6'10", 240 lbs
Age: 28

Global Port Batang Pier - Justin Williams (206-F/C-84, college: Wyoming)
Height: 6'10", 260 lbs
Age: 28

Meralco Bolts - Dawson Eric (206-F-84, college: Midwestern St.)
Height: 6'9", 250 lbs
Age: 28

Petron Blaze Boosters - Renaldo Balkman (201-F-84, college: S.Carolina)
Height: 6'8", 225 lbs
Age: 28

Rain or Shine Elasto Painters - Bruno Sundov (221-C-80, agency: Alti Sport)

Age: 32

San Mig Coffee Mixers - Matthew Rogers (211-C-87, college: SW Baptist)
Height: 6'11", 224 lbs
Age: 25

The Alaska's original choice, Mbenga Ilunga (214-C-80), formerly of the LA Lakers in the NBA, will not suit up for the Aces as negotiations bogged down. Instead, Coach Luigi Trillo has turned it sights to another NBA veteran, which currently still unnamed. Meanwhile, San Mig Coffee settled for Spanish League veteran Matthew Rogers as Bowles Denzel (208-F/C-89, college: JMU), the original choice for the Mixers, still has a live contract with Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) which will end on the second week of February. Still, Bowles remain as a reserve import in case Rogers does not panned out with the Mixers. The Texters, is still in the hunt for an import as they forgo tapping Gilas's stalwart Marcus Douthit (210-C/F-80, agency: Edge Sports, college: Providence), so he can concentrate in the upcoming campaign of the national team in the 2013 FIBA Asia Cup that will be held in Manila on August.

NLEX drops plans to bring back Michael Madanly - May 29, 2016
