After eight weeks of playing, the superleague has ran into several surprises from clubs, some exciting close games, and other expected results.
With 14 teams taking part, at the end of the league four of them will go down to the first division. So each club was playing hard to stay in the superleague.

At the moment, three teams: De La Salle Al Quds Jerusalem, Ibdaa Dheisheh and Orthodox Beit Sahour won 7 games out of 8, with De La Salle in the lead by points difference with 3 games left for all.
Some of the surprising games was from the rising teams: Rameen beating Birzeit , and Birzeit beating Sarriyet Ramallah (2nd place last year) and Orthodox Beit Sahour who was alone in the lead with 7wins.

In the case of wining the title, Orthodox Beit Sahour needs to win all the upcoming games vs. Sarriyet Ramallah, De La Salle and Hiteen to be the champ. Ibdaa Dheisheh need to beat Orthodox Ramallah, Sarriyet Ramallah and Eibal with having Beit Sahour lose one of its games. De La Salle need to beat Birzeit, Orthodox Beit Sahour and Sarriyet Ramallah and Ibdaa losing one of its games. While Sarriyet Ramallah need to win all their upcoming games vs. Orthodox Beit Sahour, Ibdaa and De La Salle.
The teams that will go down for now are Eibal , Ahli Jerusalem and Rameen.

One can though notice through the 8 games each team played, that almost none of the teams is stable, very close games when it is expected that one team will win easily and vice versa. Moreover, many new young players shined such as Ibrahim Habash (G-93), George Zelfo, Lutfi Anab, Daud Abu Qweider, Tamer Habash, Ahmad Yunis, Bayan AlHout, Hamzeh Abbas, Tareq Tamimi, Wasim Misk and have been major to the winning of their team. To which I think some of the current older players need to give some space to the younger players to get game experience.

Three more exciting weeks and the champ will be revealed. Thereafter, the first division league will start.
