Morocco-Palestine 83:65

Morocco finished 10th in Doha beating Palestine in the game for 10-11th places at Pan Arab Games. Trailing after the first 10 minutes of the game, they grabbed 83:65 win in their last game.
Palestine surprised the opponents with 20-16 in the first period, but could not follow them in the rest of the game. Morocco produced a 22-12 surge in the second frame and took 6-point advantage at the halftime. Moreover the third quarter brought them 26-13 and the bigger lead that they kept up to the end.
Anouar Grayssi (193-G-88) paced all the winners with 26 points and Reda Rhalimi (213-C-82, college: St.Mary's, CA) netted 17. Said Boustout (203-C-80) nailed 9, while Nadim Soufiane (G-88) delivered 7. Jamal Abu-Shamala (196-G/F-87, college: Minnesota) replied with 19 points in the losing effort and Salim Sakakini (F-87) collected 16 points and 16 rebounds in defeat.

De La Salle Al Quds Jerusalem (PBBA) signed American forward Julius Barton (203-95kg). He just graduated from Kentucky State University (NCAA2). Barton has played there for the last three years. In 23 games he had very impressive stats: 15.6ppg, 7.7rpg and 1.5bpg last season. Trotamundos de Carabobo (LPB) strengthened their roster with addition of 29-year old Palestinian ex-international center Sani Sakakini (204-100kg-88).
