Palestine registered the first win at the second stage of Pan Arab Games. They held off Sudan in Group G to improve at 1-1 record. Jamal Abu-Shamala (196-G/F-87, college: Minnesota) fired 32 points and grabbed 9 rebounds to lead the winners. Sudan fell at 0-2 record after the loss.
Sudan stayed competitive in the starting quarter. They earned a narrow 26:25 lead after ten minutes of action. But Palestine opened the second quarter on a 17:3 run to surge ahead. Palestine ensured a 51:36 halftime advantage. They maintained the lead throughout the third frame. They built a 69:55 advantage at the final intermission. Palestine never allowed Sudan closer throughout the final frame and rolled to a comfortable win at the end. Nicola Fadayel (191-F-87) posted 22 points, while Yahya AlKhatib (190-G-77) had 12 points for the winning side. Kamal Elfadel (F/C) notched 30 points and 13 rebounds for Sudan. Alaa Eldin (G) and Orsd Hamend (G) chipped in 9 points each in defeat.

Orthodoxi Bethlehem and Kalendia reach the Finals - 1 day ago
Orthodoxi Bethlehem and Kalendia reached the Finals as they rout their opponents in the semifinals clashes. Kalendia won both games against Sariya Ramallah, 81-80 and 91-80 to sweep the series. Orthodoxi Bethlehem meanwhile lost the opener to Orthodoxi Bayt Sahour 72-77. Later on Orthodoxi Bethlehem posted a 76-69 decisive win. As a reminder Sariya Ramallah won the Regular season with a 20-2 record, while Orthodoxi Bethlehem ended up second with a 19-3 record.   [read more]

Orthodoxi Bethlehem has a 13-1 record after the win over Birzaet 78-64. Earlier they beat Orthodoxi Ramallah 81-73. Sariya Ramallah is with 11-2 record on the second place after the win over De La Salle - Jerusalem 88-83. Orthodoxi Bayt Sahour is third with a 10-3. They edged Ibdae 81-78.   [read more]

Justin Monroe (ex Beit Sahour) signs at Al Shamal - 1 month ago
Al Shamal Doha (D1) landed 31-year old American guard Justin Monroe (196-97kg-87, college: Morehouse). He played in the summer at ORC Beit Sahour in Palestinian PBBA. The last season Monroe played at Fougeres (NM2) in French league. He helped his team to make it to the Singapore Pro-Am SBL Final in 2016.
