Cheickh El Khatib and William Pharis (206-F/C-81, college: Arkansas) paced Lebanon over Palestine in the start of the Second Stage in Doha. Lebanon won over Palestine 90:77 at Pan Arab Games for 7-12 places.
Palestine looked better in the opening period and enjoyed 22-17 after the first 10 minutes of the game. The second period however was decisive in the game and brought Lebanon 32-18 surge. The teams went to the lockers at 49:40 and then Lebanon increased to 70:51 after three quarters. Palestine managed to reduce the gap due to the last period and finished with minus 13.
Cheickh El Khatib erupted with 30 points, while William Pharis collected 24 points and 15 rebounds. Mohamad Ibrahim (195-G-83) followed them with 16 and Nadim Hawe (203-C/F-83) added 15. Nicola Fadayel (191-F-87) responded with 14 points in defeat and Salim Sakakini (F-87) notched 13. Abu Tayyem Wael, Jamal Abu-Shamala (196-G/F-87, college: Minnesota) and Iyad Yousef (205-C-80) each added 10 points in the losing effort.

Kalendia celebrate Palestine Premier League 2017/2018 title - 2 months ago
Kalendia celebrated Palestine Premier League 2017/2018 title in the country. In the Final series they overcame Orthodoxi Bethlehem. In game 1 Kalendia posted a 91-83 win as they dominated the majority of the game. Orthodoxi Bethlehem replied with a 97-92 victory to force the decider. Orthodoxi Bethlehem and Kalendia reach the Finals - 2 months ago
Orthodoxi Bethlehem and Kalendia reached the Finals as they rout their opponents in the semifinals clashes. Kalendia won both games against Sariya Ramallah, 81-80 and 91-80 to sweep the series. Orthodoxi Bethlehem meanwhile lost the opener to Orthodoxi Bayt Sahour 72-77. Later on Orthodoxi Bethlehem posted a 76-69 decisive win.
