BK Geosan Kolin (NBL) added to their roster experienced 36-year old Omani-Serbian point guard Bojan Malesevic (201-100kg-80). He has played for the last eight seasons at Al Nizwa in Omani D1 league.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Malesevic won Oman League championship title in 2015. He was selected to Oman League All-Star Game in 2014.
Malesevic is quite experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America) in seven different countries. Malesevic has played previously professionally in Georgia (Energy Invest), Iran (Paykan), Latvia (ASK Riga), Poland (Unia Tarnow), Russia, Saudi Arabia (Al Hilal) and Greece (Iraklis).
He is close to retirement age as a player. It's very possible he may end his playing career at BK Kolin.
The scouts decsribe him following way: An Experience NBA-Sized PG...Very Crafty-tricky Player...They call him Arabic Magic Johnson...Very strong and smart PG...Best passer in two continents in every country he played he was leader in assists (In Europe and Asia with fantastic stats.)...Win University games with Yugoslavia NT 2001, also own a 20 gold medals in Asia - Iran, Oman, Georgia, Saudi Arabia. (Most Richest Arabs in World). Voted 5 times MVP. Big money player played for more than milion in Russia. Record of the leagues in Assist...best passer in history in Poland league Average 10.5apg!!!...Set record of assist in all leagues where he played. Probably one of the best PG in Asia. (21 assists single game)!!!... Winning championships, All star games, voted MVP.

Nizwa - Rayyan 55:74 Rayyan victoriously opened their GCC Cup campaign. They topped hosting Nizwa in the opener. Matthew Bryan-Amaning (205-F-88, college: Washington) posted 23 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Qatari side. Rayyan opened the game on a 17:4 run. They boosted the lead at 16-point mark at halftime 38:22. Nizwa managed to pull within 11 points at the final intermission 39:50. As Seeb (D1) strengthened their roster with addition of 30-year old American swingman Antonio Haymon (198-102kg-88, college: Lee). He played last season at Al Salam in Saudi Arabian SBL league, played few games with Al Khor in Qatari league that year. The other team he played shortly was Hoops Club in Lebanese Pepsi LBL where in 6 games he recorded 13.8ppg, 8.3rpg, 1.5apg, 1.0spg and 1.0bpg last season.
