Bahrain recorded the second win at the inaugural GCC Championship in Qatar. They held off Oman to improve at 2-1 record. Oman in the meantime suffered the third loss in a row. Dalia Abdullah produced 18 points to lead Bahrain to the victory.
Bahrain posted a 13:8 lead after ten minutes. The teams combined for just 8 points in the second term but Bahrain enlarged their lead to 9 points 19:10. Oman tried to change the complexion of the encounter in the third term. They cut the deficit to 8 points with one quarter remaining but it was not enough. Bahrain prevailed 17:11 in the final stanza and registered the win at the end. Fatima Hassan accounted for 14 points, while Mariam Hedar finished with 11 points and 11 boards for Bahrain. Hiba Saeed answered with 8 points for Oman. Somaia Mouhssen and Gohaina Ali had 7 points each in the losing effort.

Oman remained winless at the start of the inaugural GCC Championship in Doha. Oman opened their campaign with a 21:59 loss to Qatar. The second game brought little relief for Oman.
