Arhangai Altan celebrated 7th consecutive win as they beat UVS 84-70. Onolbaatar netted 23 points to lead the winners and Ganbold as well as Amarbayaslagan added 12 each. Usukhbayar replied with 19 points in defeat.
Khovd AA meanwhile improved to a 6-0 record beating Bayankhongor 79-66. Enhbaat top-scored for the winners with 23 points and 18 rebounds. Gotov added 20 and Byartmu netted 15. Suhbat replied with 26 points in the losing effort.

Hovd Shonkhoruud edges UVS for 2-0 record on top - 21 days ago
Hovd edged UVS for a 2-0 record on top of the 2017/2018 season ladder. Hovd nailed 30 points in the first period and led 14 points at the halftime. Moreover they won the third frame 25-14 and did not mind 20-25 loss at the end of the game. Delgeen Anhbaat stepped up with 21 points and Batzhargal Ardenebileg netted 13. Bold Galdaa and Menhbayar replied with 23 points in the losing effort.   [read more]

Mongolia's men and Australia's women won gold in the second edition of the FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup 2017 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia on October 29 2017. In the men's category, the Mongolian hosts had a tough route to the final. In the semi-final that went to overtime, they beat an impressive Australian team who had made their way through the tournament from the Day 1 qualifying draw.
