Arhangai Altan tabs Elijah Macon, ex Alba - Jan 27, 2018

Defending champion Arhangai Altan Dornod Gold.East Warriors (Superleague) inked 25-year old American forward Elijah Macon (206-109kg-93, college: W.Virginia). He started the season at Alba in Hungarian A Division. Macon managed to play in three leagues this year (!!!). In three A Division games he averaged 6.0ppg and 4.3rpg. Macon also played 2 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he had 4.0ppg, 3.5rpg and 1.0apg. And finally he contributed to 2 games in Basketball Champions League where he recorded 6.5ppg, 3.0rpg and 1.0spg.
Macon just graduated from West Virginia University and it is his first season in pro basketball.
Among other achievements he played in the final of Big 12 Tournament for two years in a row (2016 and 2017).

Khovd - Arhangai 84-94 Arhangai reduced the deficit as they beat Khovd 94-84 in Game 3. Khovd posted a 25-23 push in the first period, while Arhangai grabbed a 39-36 halftime advantage. Khovd wins Game 2, takes 2-0 lead in Finals - 2 days ago
Arhangai - Khovd 102-105 Khovd managed to win another thriller against Arhangai and took a 2-0 lead in the Final series. They posted a 32-31 push in the start of the game and dominated the second half. After a 24-20 rally in the third period, they closed the game with a final 33-29 surge for a 105-102 victory. P.J. Khovd wins Finals opener - 5 days ago
Arhangai - Khovd 115-118 Khovd has won the Finals opener beating Arhangai 118-115 in a thriller. Khovd took a 30-25 lead and then enjoyed a 51-48 halftime advantage. Moreover they posted a 31-26 rally in the third quarter to take an 82-74 lead after three quarters. Arhangai reduced to 96-90 with 5 minutes to go, but could not seal the win.
