The 9th Inter Government Office / Government Companies Basketball tournament 2006

Former champions Maldives Airports Company Ltd secured the 9th Inter office Basketball tournament for the year 2006 here in Male’.

During the first two quarters Immigrations were at the lead.
The Airports and Immigrations battled head to head for much of the third quarter.

In the final quarter Airports took the lead and maintain it comfortably till the end.

TREX triumphed in the country as they demolished Bows SC in the Final game. The Winner of the Regular Season did not leave any chance for the opponents in a 103-60 win. Zakariya Abdul Latheef top-scored for the winners with 40 points and was named player of the game. Rikin Pethani (203-C-90) collected 22 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 blocks. An exciting game was played in Male. Second ranked T-REX faced 4th ranked Kudahenveyru Utd.. Host T-REX (6-1) defeated guests from (2-6) 92-76. T-REX have an impressive six-game winning streak.
