Maldives finished with 1-3 record 2013 Dhaka Invitational Tournament. The tream started with the loss from Nepal 57:82. In Day 2 Maldives were beaten by Pakistan 62:88. The only victory the team achieved in Day 3 when they overcame Bhutan 74:57.

We are close to beginning of new season at this beautiful country.
In 2016 season there will be six teams that will play round-robin system in regular season part, after that top four teams will qualify for semifinals and then big final game.

SABA Championship: Nepal open campaign with victory - 2 Years ago

Nepal - Maldives 108:89 Nepal got to the winning start of the 3rd SABA Championship. They overcame Maldives in Katmandu. The hosts fired 28 points in the first frame to take a 5-point lead. They stayed in charge throughout the second quarter. Nepal posted a 56:43 halftime lead. The margin grew at 26-point mark at the final intermission. Maldives unleashed 34 points in the fourth frame but could not avoid the defeat.   [read more]
