Segamat celebrated MNBL title. They shot down BinaPuri at the MABA Stadium to claim the trophy. Hui Jing Chen (177-G/F-87) came up with 18 points to lead the charge.
Segamat clinched a 14:8 lead after ten minutes. They maintained the advantage throughout the second quarter. Segamat ensured a 26:17 halftime advantage. They did not loosen the grasp in the third quarter. Segamat piled up a 47:36 advantage with one quarter to go. BinaPuri put on a decent fight in the fourth period but came up short of victory at the end. Yann Yann Pee (174-F-85) and Suik May Kew (172-F-82) finished with 8 points each for Segamat. Chiau Teng Ting (180-C-92) answered with game-high 23 points and 8 rebounds for BinaPuri. Fook Yee Yap (174-F-93) had 8 points in the loss.

India U18 - Malaysia U18 60:59
India recorded the crucial win at the U18 Asia Championship. They overcame hosting Malaysia in a tightly-contested battle to secure the place in Level I for the next edition of the tournament. Jeena Skaria (94) came up with 24 points and 11 boards to pace the visitors.
India grabbed a 15:11 lead ten minutes into the game. They maintained the lead throughout the second frame. India enjoyed a 34:26 halftime buffer. The teams traded baskets throughout the third quarter. India entered the fourth stanza up by 8 points 46:38. But the hosts refused to give up. Malaysia narrowed the deficit to a single point with just over a minute remaining. But several misses in the dying stages did not allow Malaysia to snatch the victory. They will have to start from Level II in the next edition of the competition. Anjana Geetha (177-F-94) had 10 points for the winners. Shi yeng Ng (186-C-94) answered with 20 points and 12 rebounds for Malaysia. Chiew Yen Lee (168-G/F-95) had 17 points in the loss.

Japan recorded the fourth victory at U18 Asia Championship. They toppled Malaysia for 4-1 record in the second position in Level I group. Kanako Masuoka (173-G-94) stepped up with 14 points to lead the winners.
Japan ensured a quick start. They cleared off to a 24:10 lead after ten minutes. Japan boosted the gap in the second term. They established a comfortable 46:15 halftime advantage. The margin grew deeper in the third period. Japan accounted for a massive 67:22 lead heading into the fourth term. They did not slow down and clinched a comfortable win at the end. Yunika Nakamura (177-PF-95) and Mirai Tamura (164-PG-94) accounted for 13 points each for the winners. Michelle Lee (165-G-88) answered with 11 points for Malaysia. Chu Yun Teo (165-G/F-96) had 6 points in the loss.
