Al Rayyan Doha (D1) landed 30-year old American swingman Watkins Williams (194-87, college: Siskiyous JC). He played recently at played at Byblos Sporting Club in Lebanese LBL league where he averaged 13.5ppg and 2.0rpg in two games. Williams also played for Kawkab Athletic Club de Marrakech in Moroccan league earlier that season. The other team he played shortly was Maree (Super League) in Ireland where in 7 LBL games he had 11.1ppg, 2.9rpg and 1.0apg.
Williams has played also professionally in Germany (Herford).
He attended College of the Siskiyous until 2007.
