Champville (Pepsi LBL) landed 32-year old American small forward Justin Hawkins (203-100kg-85, college: New Mexico State). He played most recently at Al Shurtah in Iraqi Superleague. He helped them to make it to the final after they ended regular season as second best team. It was a very successful season in his career as he was selected to Asia-Basket.com Iraqi League All-Imports Team and 2nd Team.
The previous (15-16) season Hawkins played at another team D Fenders in U.S. semi-pro league G-Leaguen where in 46 games he averaged 9.6ppg, 4.2rpg and 1.5apg. He contributed to his team making it to the final after they ended regular season as second best team. He can count that season as a very successful as was selected to Asia-Basket.com All-FIBA Asia Champions Cup Honorable Mention.
Two years ago (seven years after he left the college) Hawkins was drafted by Los Angeles D-Fenders (D-League) in second round (36th overall).
The former New Mexico State standoutis in his tenth season in pro basketball.
Hawkins' team won Belarusian Cup in 2012.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball Hawkins experienced life in six different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian and of course North American leagues. Hawkins has played previously professionally in Finland (Kouvot and Loimaan Korikonkarit), France (Strasbourg IG and Boulazac Basket), Saudi Arabia (Al Ahli Jeddah), Iraq (Duhok), NBA G League (Northern Arizona Suns, Iowa Energy and Maine Red Claws) and D-League (Springfield A.).
He is described as: Can play both wing positions and guard three positions defensively.

There was no lack of excitement in the last round games. The round ended with loss of the undefeated team and favorites losing the games. The most surprising game was the first loss ofHomenetmen (5-1) in Beirut on Tuesday night. Hosts were edged by ninth ranked Louaize (1-5) 92-91. Defending champion CEZ Basketball Nymburk (NBL) agreed terms with 27-year old American forward Calvin Godfrey (206-109kg-90, college: Memphis). He already started the season at Moutahed in Lebanese Pepsi LBL. Quite impressive season as he League Player of the Week.
