Chanita Jordan to join Lebanon for FIBA Asia Cup - Jul 10, 2017

Chanita Jordan (196-C-87, college: Bowie St., agency: Gamble Sports Management) will get the Lebanese passport and will dress up for the National Team at the 2017 FIBA Asia Cup. Lebanon will play in Level II Group B alongside Fiji, Kazakhstan and Singapore. Chanita Jordan spent the last season in Turkey. She played for Bornova. The centre notched 15.9 points, 11.1 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game. Previously she had stints in Puerto Rico, United Arab Emirates, Belarus and Germany. She was named All-Turkish TKB2L Centre of the Year back in 2015.

Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut (Division I) added to their roster 31-year old guard Aida Bakhos (175-86, college: Lamar). It is actually her comeback to Beirut as she has played here before. Bakhos has played for the last four seasons at Homentmen Antelias in the Division I. She helped them to win the League title (twice) despite they ended the regular season at the second place (twice).
