Mazen
Mneimneh
CS Antounieh agreed terms with 31-year old ex-international swingman Mazen Mneimneh (192-86). He played last season at Champville (Pepsi LBL). In 19 games he had just 2.3ppg, 2.2rpg and 1.2apg.
The previous (15-16) season Mneimneh played at Tadamon (also in Pepsi LBL) where in 15 games he recorded 4.8ppg, 2.0rpg and 1.4apg.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted Asia-Basket.com All-Lebanese League Honorable Mention back in 2008.
Mneimneh was also a member of Lebanese international program for some years. He played for Lebanese Senior National Team between 2006 and 2013 and previously for U18 National Team in 2004.
Mneimneh represented Lebanon at the West Asia Basketball Championships in Tehran (Iran) four years ago.
He has played previously for four other teams: Al Riyadi, Anibal, Al Moutahed and Byblos.
On Mneimneh: A true Asian basketball rising star. An excellent shooter and penetrator, who can score in lots of ways. Has also great leadership on the court and can defend well. Needs to adapt his game to senior level, but his rapid improving skills could allow him to become an NBA level player in few years.
