Homenetmen won Finals Game 1 against Riyadi 75-68. The newly signed Angel McCoughtry (187-SF-86, college: Louisville) debuts with 33 points. Trailing 6 points at the end of the first period, Homenetmen closed the game with a final 26-16 surge. Gintare Petronyte (196-C/F-89) delivered 23 points in a win and Aida Bakhos posted 9. Rebecca Akl (169-F-92) ended up with 20 points in a loss, whilst Lama Moukadem had 17. Aishah Sutherland (187-F-90, college: Kansas, agency: Two Points) collected 14 points an 11 boards in defeat.

Hoops Club (Division I) strengthened their roster with addition of American forward Tabatha Richardson-Smith (183, college: Seton Hall). She played in the summer at Gladstone Port City Power in Australian QBL. In 17 games she was the best scorer with impressive 31.6ppg and had 10.0rpg, 5.2apg and 3.0spg. Richardson-Smith helped them to make it to the semifinals. The last season she played at Espoo Utd in Finnish SM-sarja where in 21 games she recorded 12.7ppg, 8.4rpg, 1.3apg and 1.6spg. Chabibeh Sporting Club(Division I) strengthened their roster with addition of 27-year old swingman Jennifer Ammoury Maalouf (180-89) from Antranik Beirut. Ammoury Maalouf has played there for the last nine years. She helped them to make it to the cup final and to the league semifinals. "Jennifer will be our captain", said head coach J.D. Barnes. Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut (Division I) inked 30-year old American ex-international power forward Christina Dewitt (188-87, college: N.Carolina) from Chabibeh. She helped them to make it to the semifinals. The previous (15-16) season Dewitt played at another team Lady Generals in U.S. semi-pro league UBA where in 10 games she was second best scorer with impressive 20.5ppg and had 11.8rpg (leader !!!), 2.1apg, 1.4spg and 3.4bpg.
