Mile Ilic
Experienced Bosnia and Herzegovina-Serbian Mile Ilic (215-C-84) had a great game in the last round for Tadamon and that's him to receive a Asia-basket.com Player of the Week award for round 4 (Second Stage).
The 32-year old center had a double-double of 23 points and eleven rebounds, while his team edged out Al Riyadi (#1, 17-6) 89-87. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Tadamon maintains the 3rd position in Lebanese Pepsi LBL. Tadamon is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. But it was their 14th lost game this season out of 23 games. In the team's last game Ilic had a remarkable 60.0% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Tadamon, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Mile Ilic averages just after three games 21.0ppg and 12.0rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 24-year old American guard Geron Johnson (190-G-92) of Louaize. Johnson impressed basketball fans with 30 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Bad luck as Louaize lost that game 84-90 to slightly higher-ranked Byblos (#2, 16-6). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Louaize still maintains its place in the top 3 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team's 11-11 record is not bad at all. Johnson is a newcomer at Louaize and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 24.7ppg (#3). His other stats are also decent: 8.4rpg and 6.8apg.

The third best performed player last round was former international forward Bassel Bawji (203-F-89) of Champville (#4). Bawji scored 16 points and grabbed nineteen rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Champville, leading his team to a 90-76 easy win against #2 ranked Moutahed. The chances of Champville not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 14 games, recording just nine victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Bawji could try to bring Champville's a little bit higher in the standings. Bawji has individually a great season in Lebanon. After 22 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.8rpg (7th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Amir Saoud (186-G-91) of Al Riyadi - 28 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists
5. Fadi El Khatib (198-F/G-79) of Homenetmen - 31 points and 3 rebounds
6. Ater Majok (208-C-87) of Homenetmen - 11 points, 17 rebounds and 2 assists
7. Steven Roundtree (206-F) of Byblos - 20 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists
8. Brandon Thomas (198-G/F-84) of Champville - 23 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists
9. Maurice Kemp (203-F-91) of Tadamon - 20 points and 8 rebounds
10. Patrick Rembert (185-PG-89) of Champville - 20 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
