Isiah Umipig
NBL Canada newcomer Kitchener-Waterloo Titans (NBL Canada) tabbed 25-year old American point guard Isiah Umipig (183-88kg-92, college: Seattle). He played recently at Mayrouba in Lebanese Pepsi LBL. In three games he averaged 12.7ppg, 2.7rpg, 4.7apg and 2.0spg this season. Umipig also spent pre-season at Limburg United in Belgian Euromillions League earlier that year.
Last year (a year after he left the college) Umipig was drafted by Maine Red Claws (D-League) in third round (46th overall).
The former Seattle University standoutis in his second season in pro basketball.
Among other achievements Umipig played in the final of WAC Tournament in 2015. He received also All-WAC 1st Team award in 2015 at his college time.
Umipig has played also professionally in Slovakia (MBK Rieker Com Therm Komarno and Iskra Svit).

Thomas also played that season for Vanoli Cremona in Italian Serie A where in 6 Pepsi LBL games he recorded 6.2ppg, 3.8rpg, 1.2apg and 1.2spg. The Lebanese under 16 basketball national team grabbed another large win at the 2017 U16 WABA Championship, by defeating Jordan this time 78-47. Our young players have been showing off terrific potential so far by smashing the opposition in both played games. These wins have paved the way towards an Asian qualification, as 2 teams out of 5 will go through.
