Homenetmen took on Sagesse as they both eye 3rd spot so they could avoid Riyadi in the semis. Homenetmen started the game off well, taking a 17-8 lead as Sagesse found troubles in finding their way to the bucket. Michael Taylor (186-G-86, college: Iowa St.) changed the tempo of the game, cutting through Sagesse's defense as a knife through butter. The greens slow transition was obviously causing them trouble. Taylor and co were running like they never did before. The introduction of Nadim Hawi (205-C/F-83) and Hayg was very efficient as Homenetmen went into the half leading 39-46. The 2nd half started well for Sagesse, they defended well and found the open man to take the shot. On the other hand, Fadi was never going to let Sagesse come back into the game. He was always the guy to score to stop the green break. Fadi El Khatib (198-F/G-79) and Dewayne were up to the challenge scoring from behind the arc to create a 12 point deficit. Sagesse can take one positive thing from this q, Mohammad Ibrahim was back in form, scoring threes and turning the ball less. It was going Homenetmen's way, Sagesse seemed to lose interest as their energy was running low. It was all roses as Homenetmen won easily the game with a final score 96-67.
