Ndudi Ebi
32-year old forward Ndudi Ebi (206-F-84) put on an amazing game in the last round for second-ranked Byblos and receives a Player of the Week award for round 12.
He had a double-double of 42 points and 16 rebounds, while his team beat Mayrouba (#10, 3-10) 96-81. Byblos maintains the 2nd position in Lebanese league. They are still close to the very top. Byblos would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 10-2 record. In the team's last game Ebi had a remarkable 63.2% from 2-point range. He turned to be Byblos' top player in his first season with the team. Ebi has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (4th best: 12.7rpg) and averages solid 2.2bpg.

Second best performed player last round was Darian Townes (208-F/C-84) of Champville. He is American forward in his first season at Champville. In the last game Townes recorded impressive double-double of 27 points and 17 rebounds. Of course Champville cruised to a 116-106 relatively comfortable win over slightly higher-ranked Tadamon (#6, 5-7). Champville's 8th position in the standings has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 4-8 record. Townes is a newcomer at Champville and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Emmanuel Jones (200-F-85) of Mayrouba (#10). Jones got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. He went also for eleven rebounds . Despite Jones' great performance Mayrouba lost 81-96 to the higher-ranked Byblos (#2, 10-2). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Mayrouba can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have extremely bad season and 3-10 record places them at the very bottom of the standings. Too bad for Jones he does not play for a better team. But maybe if he did, his season stats would not be that high. Jones has individually a great season in Lebanon. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 24.5ppg (5th best). Jones attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Patrick Rembert (185-PG-89) of Champville - 30 points, 2 rebounds and 9 assists
5. Omar Thomas (196-F-82) of Hoops - 27 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists
6. Maurice Kemp (203-F-91) of Tadamon - 32 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists
7. Vladan Vukosavljevic (206-F/C-84) of Hoops - 20 points, 14 rebounds and 3 assists
8. Earvin Morris (196-G-94) of Tadamon - 29 points and 7 assists
9. Dewayne Jackson (203-F-90) of Homenetmen - 27 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists
10. Mohamad Haidar (201-F-90) of Al Riyadi - 19 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
