Leather
Sagesse - Al Hekmeh Beirut (Pepsi LBL) added to their roster experienced 36-year old American center Terrence Leather (204-103kg-81, college: S.Florida, agency: Interperformances). It is actually his comeback to Beirut as he has played here before. Leather played last season at Sionista in Argentinian TFB league. In 6 LigaA games he recorded 7.2ppg, 6.0rpg and 1.2spg. Leather also spent pre-season at Estudiantes (also in LigaA) in Argentinian that year. The other team he played shortly was Champville where in 5 Pepsi LBL games he averaged impressive 17.4ppg, 8.2rpg and 1.4apg.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Leather's team made it to the Korean KBL Semifinals in 2012 and 2015. He was also voted Asia-Basket.com All-Lebanese League Honorable Mention back in 2014.
Leather is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in eight different countries. Leather tasted the life as pro basketball player in Asia, Latin America and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in Germany, Iran (Foolad Mahan), Korea (Mobis Phoebus, KCC Egis, ET Land Elephants, Goyang Orions and SK Knights), Philippines, Portugal, Puerto Rico (Mets), Spain and Lebanon (Homenetmen).
It's very possible he may end his playing career at Sagesse.
Leather attended University of South Florida until 2005 and it will be his twelfth (!!!) season as a professional player.
On Leather: A potent offensive weapon … A skilled player with good shooting range.
